KUEV is designed to be minimal and privacy-focused. We collect only the information necessary to provide the service:

• Account Information: Your email address, used exclusively for authentication via Supabase.
• Profile Data: A username you choose, and optionally, a profile picture representing your "plant".
• Taste Seeds: The text and optional images representing the tastes (music, movies, books) you choose to share publicly on the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to structure the KUEV network. Your chosen tastes are used to match you with other users. We do not use your email address for marketing purposes, nor do we sell any user data to third-party data brokers.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure. We utilize Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure that users can only modify their own profiles and seeds. However, please note that by the nature of the application, your "tastes" and username are public to other users on the platform to facilitate connections.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with our website to improve the user experience. These services may collect anonymized usage data and utilize cookies as described in their respective privacy policies.

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your data. You can delete your seeds, disconnect your chains, or request full account deletion at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, your tastes and connections will be permanently removed from our databases.
